Sunoco® RMR™ is a 94 octane unleaded racing fuel that contains 2.7 weight % oxygen. While it has many potential applications, RMR has been established as a popular choice in Europe where it has been race proven in high revving two-stroke and four-stroke engines. RMR works equally well in naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications.
Sunoco RMR is the control fuel of racing organizations such as Mini Challenge, select classes of British Superbike, the UK Legends Championship, and Dunlop Production Touring Cars. It is also used successfully by Honda and Suzuki motocross teams. Sunoco RMR meets BSEN228, BS7800, FIA and FIM specifications.
Sunoco RMR is a stable fuel that does not have to be drained from fuel systems after each use. RMR is not a street legal fuel and is for off-road and racing use only. It will not harm sensors such as oxygen sensors used in fuel injection systems and dynamometer data acquisition systems. RMR contains additives to enhance shelf life and engine cleanliness. As with any gasoline, it should be stored in dark, tightly sealed containers where the temperature is stable. Handled under such conditions, the shelf life of Sunoco RMR is in excess of 1 year.
